Timize is operated by its developer (everpenny@gmail.com). This policy describes what the App actually handles, where it stays, and why. The App has no user account.
The following is stored on your device, including the space shared with the widget, Shortcuts, and the schedule extension. It is not uploaded to the developer:
The App uses TelemetryDeck to see which features are used, so the product can be improved. TelemetryDeck does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not receive your name, email, which apps you restricted, your notes, or a precise location.
What is sent is an anonymous identifier that cannot be turned back into your identity, plus app version, system version, device type, locale, and feature events. Events carry only aggregate details, such as how many apps an action involved, which mode was used (timer, schedule, or location), whether a setting was on, and whether a purchase succeeded. TelemetryDeck processes this data. Debug builds do not send it.
Contact Us opens the Mail app addressed to everpenny@gmail.com. The message includes what you write, plus device model, system version, app version, and whether Pro is unlocked. A diagnostic log can be attached.
Diagnostic logs stay on the device until you export them or attach them to feedback. They contain timestamps, outcomes, group identifiers, error text, app version, system version, device model, and locale. They do not contain restricted-app names, passcodes, note text, or precise coordinates.
Pro is paid through Apple In-App Purchase. The App only learns from Apple whether that one-time product is unlocked. It does not receive your name, billing address, or card number. Restoring a purchase uses your Apple Account through Apple.
On-device data stays while you use the App. You can delete groups, schedules, locations, and notes inside the App, and you can turn off the passcode, location, and the other switches. Deleting the App removes its on-device data. Keychain items follow iOS rules. Anonymous statistics are kept under TelemetryDeck’s own policy. Feedback email is kept until the issue is handled.
To access, correct, or delete feedback we hold about you, email everpenny@gmail.com. Data stored only on your device can be deleted there.
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, email everpenny@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 14 in mainland China). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, such as through feedback email, contact us and we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian using the App to manage a device, you decide whether to grant Screen Time and location access.
This policy may change when features or legal requirements change. The new effective date is shown on this page.
