Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Timize (the “App”). By using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete it.

1. What the App does

Timize helps you manage app usage on your own device. After you grant Screen Time access, you can:

group apps and restrict or restore them manually;
set a one-time timer, a weekly schedule, or a location that restricts or restores apps when you arrive or leave;
toggle a group from a Home Screen widget or a Shortcut;
set a six-digit passcode, optional Face ID, and a decoy passcode that shows the App as a notes app;
change the App icon, and block installing apps, deleting apps, or in-app purchases on this device, using system controls.

The free version limits you to 3 restricted apps at a time, and to 1 app group, 1 schedule, and 1 location. The decoy passcode and custom icons require Pro. Pro is a one-time purchase. It raises the in-app limit to the system maximum of 50 restricted apps at once, and removes the in-app caps on groups, schedules, and locations. iOS itself limits how many schedules can be active at once; the App cannot add more after that system limit is reached.

2. Your responsibilities

Use the App only on devices and apps you are allowed to manage. Do not use it to interfere with someone else’s device or for anything illegal.
The decoy passcode and custom icons are there to protect your own privacy. Do not use them to hide illegal material.
Restrictions depend on Screen Time authorization remaining in place, and on iOS allowing the related background work and location monitoring. A system update, revoked permission, or low-power conditions can delay or skip a timer, schedule, or location. The App applies the actions you set, but it cannot promise they will run in every system state.
Deleting the App or its data removes groups, schedules, locations, notes, and settings. Copy any notes you want to keep before you delete the App.

3. Purchases

Pro is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. You pay once and keep it. It does not renew. The price is the price shown on the App Store at the time you buy. Apple handles payment, refunds, and receipts. You can restore the purchase with the same Apple Account from Settings or the purchase screen. The developer does not receive your card details.

4. Intellectual property

The App’s interface, icons, text, and code belong to the developer. You receive a license to use the App on your devices, not ownership of those materials. Notes you write belong to you and stay on your device.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, the developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not promise that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every restriction will run as set.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, time, or opportunities, arising from your use of the App. The developer’s total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for Pro. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

7. Apple

These terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, or intellectual property claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated when the App or the law changes. The new version is shown on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App means you accept the updated terms.
